Girlfriends

I think I'm getting all sappy watching the girls on Sex and the City.  It's making me think about my girlfriends and how much I'm going to miss them in the coming months.  Then, sappy me, started looking through old pictures.  I have so many in albums from pre-digital days, but these are a few pictures for my girls :) Love you...

My Graduation Present

Introducing my 2011 Tahoe.  If you see me on the road, you'd best get out of the way.  I'm used to a Jetta and I might blow everyone off the road in this hoss.  I also might have to sell a kidney to pay for the gas, but I am excited to not be driving a go-kart.  Lila is excited that she doesn't have to be stuffed in here.  And about that go-kart...it is now the sweet 16 birthday present for Murray's cousin.  So the Jetter is still in the fam :)

Lake Murray

We are blessed to have great vacation homes in the family!  Murray's grandparents have a house at Edisto and his parents have a house on Lake Murray.  We packed up and went to the lake house this weekend for a quick family trip.  And when I say packed, I mean PACKED!  We are on the lookout for a bigger car because the "go-kart" has got to go :)

The weather was absolutely beautiful and the company was even better.  I truly love my in-laws! 



Here are more highlights from the weekend:

We caught fish

Mowed the deck

Ate good food

Talked on the phone

Rocked on the porch

And caught some rays

Sadly, the boat was in the shop...so we had to settle for the john boat.  I told Murray it was like a redneck version of The Notebook when he was rowing me in the lake.
